Calendar / clock mystery.

When I switched on my PC this morning, it seemed to take an inordinately long time to boot. When it eventually did, I found that both the time and date were completely wrong. The time was about 4 hours adrift and the calendar displayed June, 2007. Was this just a glitch or does it portend something more ominous?

Possibly you set your clocks from a time-server and the server was down. The process timed out and had to guess the correct time. Got it wrong.

Thanks, Simon. Everything seems OK at the moment. Just had me a bit concerned at the time.
