audio recording when sound is available
Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a command line audio recording program that can record audio (from mic or line) only when sound is available. I'm using Ubuntu 6.
In other words, it should start recording when the input audio level reaches certain trigger point and pause when the audio level drops below the trigger point, then resume when the audio level again reaches the trigger point, and so on.
Is there a software like this? Any ideas?
