Assign an executable to a file by extensión in Nautilus


I want to open a file when I double clik it.
How I can Assign an executable to open a file in Nautilus?

I found this article (I prefer Konqueror as my file manager, so I seldom use Nautilus).

If that doesn't help, please tell us what distro/version and desktop environment you are using.
