Assign an executable to a file by extensión in Nautilus

Hi,

I want to open a file when I double clik it.
How I can Assign an executable to open a file in Nautilus?

Thanks.

I found this article (I prefer Konqueror as my file manager, so I seldom use Nautilus).

http://askubuntu.com/questions/61744...i-tool-command

If that doesn't help, please tell us what distro/version and desktop environment you are using.
