Any batch image resizing apps?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hello, I need an app that will batch resize images. It needs to be able to resize based on the longest side. I.e. make the longest side of an image 500px.

Thanks.

personally i would look to use the convert tool from imagemagick. the resize option will do what you need for finding the longest side:

http://www.imagemagick.org/script/co...ons.php#resize

a simple loop through bash willl get the batch side sorted easily.

That's a pretty neat program. Thank you.

But for those who want something with a gui, I recommend xnview. Its another nice option.
