Amarok only support mp3

Hi.

I cant get Amarok to support formats other than mp3, when i load wav in my collection folder, only mp3s in that folder will show, when i manualy add stream so it gets in my playlist i can
play wav. Aif do not work at all just get:
"No suitable demux plugin. This often means that the file format is not supported."

Ive installed Xine lib 1.4.4 with both source build and tried yum install, also tried Xine Daily build version (with aditional packages):http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/

tried other apps to like banshee, but same problem =(

Currently using Fedora Core 6 Gnome, but tried to install bot amarok and xine / xinelib in KDE and tried to run them there. same issue

Getting pretty tired of this since ive been trying to get this to work for 2 weeks now...

On my FC6 installation, I setup the livna repo and installed the xine libraries then installed Kaffeine and Amarok from the official FC repos. After that I downloaded the win32 codecs from mplayerhq.hu and extracted them to /usr/lib/win32. After that I configured the xine settings using Kaffeine and pointed xine to my codec directories and I could play mp3s and other multimedia formats such as wma.
