After installing Ubuntu 14 by removing Fedora 20 does not change grub menu

Hi,

I have installed Ubuntu 14 and replaced Fedora 20 with it. However the Grub menu still shows the Fedora kernel menus. I can still boot using choose boot device option and then choosing Ubuntu, and then I can use the installed OS. The rest of the entries available in there are all marked with Fedora and choosing any of them shows the Fedora menu again.

How do you replace the Fedora GRUB menu with the Ubuntu one?

simple
install the bootloder to the MBR
the ubuntu install gui should have auto did that
unless you chose to install ubuntu to the remaining space that was not used by fedora

or
chose not to install grub

reformat the drive
and reinstall ubuntu
i would suggest using all the default settings
