hi all,
I am at a loss as to what is wrong with Add/Remove. For all items that are not installed, it says: "X cannot be installed on your computer type (i386)." Does anyone know whats wrong?
I had the same problem when using 7.10 and fixed it by clicking on the "Preferences" button in the lower left of the "Add/Remove Applications" window and enabling all the "Downloadable from the Internet" sources.
The preferences button he mentions doesn't appear to exist. Perhaps this is because I am using 8.04.
