Some distros include Gnome and KDE, but not all distros. Generally speaking, a distro will include at least one of them and it should be compatible with any kernel included with that distro release.
DEBIAN supports BOTH in the SARGE Distro. It brings up GNOME after you configure it, but allows you to CHOOSE which one you would rather use in the startup screen.
You can use the SYNAPTIC package manager to put in all the feature programs for either one.
I used the co-create linux 2005 sp1 , it installed the gnome by default.
But I want to use the Kopete, somebody told me to install the qt4.1.
But I couldn't install qt.
If it says it can't find it, try adding freshrpms to your sources.list. If you need help, write back. Distrowatch says it is based on Fedora, so any instructions and RPMs for Fedora should work on Co-Create also.
