as subject, how can i boot to console mode with root auto login after complete the ubuntu 10.04 installation.
Are you sure you want to login automatically without entering the password? And that too a root user? DANGEROUS. Is not it?
And anyhow, root password is not set in Ubuntu by default. You will need to set it. But I doubt you will need it. sudo should allow you to do all the administrative tasks.
