[FedoraCore14]Out of disk space...

Hi all,

I installed FC14 on a 1TB hard disk. After using it for a couple weeks, the system started to complain about not enough disk space..

I ran the Disk Usage Analyzer (please see attached png) and found that there are still 863 GB available...

I am not sure what I should do about it, could you please suggest...

Thanks a lot!!

Please post the output of "df -h" instead, that's much more useful. its going to most likely be a single partition that's full for some reason, not the entire disk. Under linux, different filesystems are combined for an overall tree, keeping things like user data separate from applications etc.

Cool

Hi acid_kewpie,

Thanks a lot!! This is exactly what I need. From "df -h", I know which partition is full and which one has lots of space that I can/should use.

Appreciated!
