I've installed suse on both of those HW setups and seem to work nicely' I have not plugged in the speakers on the atom box but I don't think you will have a any hardware issues

That's the fun part, why not do this yourself? Then you can get all the bangs and whistles to fit your needs. I already installed and configured my desktop but I would prefer it not be replicated.

I Am stuck in a couple of very imp. assignments and I am unable to spare much time.
I would have loved to work on this myself, but my current assignment does not allow me much time.

Hence I am looking for an expert who can do this for me.

Once again, offers welcome!

If this is an offer of employment, even if it is only a short term/one off project, it should be in job Marketplace and not here.

It is unclear why the title includes the word [Commercial]; it sounds as if you have made the decision that only desktops with a commercial support offering are acceptable (eg SLED), but you don't make this clear. Or, did you mean that the whole post concerns a commercial issue and you haven't made commercial support a pre-condition?

And if this a serious offer, shouldn't you have said something about location? After all, under some circumstances I might be quite happy to do this, but as I am quite possibly on a different continent from you, the probability is that it will be impractical. And, to be honest, I don't see how this will save you time for a one-off; I think that you will lose more time sorting out the commercial issues than you will save by having someone else do it (but that's up to you, of course). If it were 10 or `100 desktops, that would be a different case entirely.

If you tell us where you are, you might get a better response!! (Oops--I did not see that salasi asked the same question)

Ask a moderator. They have god-like powers and a wisdom that exceeds th infinite. And an ability to reduce lesser mortal to drivelling idiots.

Maybe, they'll advise you to just start a new thread. If you are more careful about asking your question (include the location, specify what you want carefully) there will be nothing in this thread that is of further worth.
