Intel Linux Graphics Installer
I installed Deepin a few days ago and it is fantastic; however, I've been trying to get a little more performance and have been looking to the Intel Linux Graphics Installer. I know that version 1.0.6 is included in the Deepin repo, but upon launching the installer it comes up with an error that says this isn't a compatible distribution. I've heard that these drivers do wonders for the HD 4400, does anyone know a solution or workaround to this error? Thanks.

Hi & Welcome to Linux Questions.
You could try installing the Intel Graphics Driver for Linux manually. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...ers-for-Linux- Download the installer in the screenshot. Unless that's the one you have already tried. That installer is for a 64- bit machine. https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads |
Hello!
I am Lorinc from Hungary, sorry for my english. :-) My problem is, that i installed deepin 15.4 on my work and home desktop too. My work ps is okay (amd a8, integrated graphics) but my home desktop have a problem with displays. My home computer's parts are the following: asrock b250m-hdv mb intel pentium g4560 processor with hd 610 graphics (i think) I think my desktop is in dual monitor mode, and i see nothing but wallpaper. I can log in, but dont see dock, etc. In the lower right corner there is the corner stuff, but dont emerge. Also i cant right click on the desktop, nothing happens. I cant turn off or choose vga outputs in the bios. I try cli with ctrl-alt-f2 for example, it works, but the xrandr says cant open displays. Everything from these works with my work computer. Can you help me? Thanks |
