Hi: & Welcome to Linux Questions.
I liked Deepin too when I was running it but like you I found it to be very plain.
Here's the .deb package of 'Gnome' if you'd like to install it that way.
Scroll to the bottom of that page, pick your pc's architecture and download your pkg.
CD to the directory that the pkg is in and use dpkg -- install (name of pkg) to install it.

If that doesn't work use these cmd's.
Code:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
Than run:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
And to install Gnome:
Code:
sudo apt-get install gnome
Logoff, then select the Gnome Desktop at the login screen.
