What is the cost of doing RHCE certification in your area?

Dear members,

Would like to learn about the costs involved for the certification process in different parts of the world. So what is the cost of doing RHCE certification in your area?

Here in India
For RHCSA certification RS.10,000/- (Approx. 185 USD)
For RHCE certification RS.10,000/- (Approx. 185 USD)

it's all listed on redhat.com/training but you refer to "our" training centre so I do hope this is asked in good faith and not going to link onwards to your business...

My intention is to gather information on the certification training costs from around the world. The rates given in Red Hat site for training did not seem to be the actual prevailing rates in the market. Also not all course training rates are given in their site.

I ask for this information in good faith and I do not intent to link it directly to ours or any other business. But I also wish to make clear that I am seeking this information so as to develop a marketing plan based on the information to promote our offshore training services. I sincerely hope that this does not violate or conflict with linuxquestions.org policies,as long as I do not promote myself or our services through this forum.

I think it is around 350$ or 350$ per exam.
Those seem really low prices.
RHCSA/RHCE is pretty pricy and to me it is far overrated.

I wouldn't agree on that .
EX200 -> 330€ + VAT (25% in my case)
EX300 -> 400€ + VAT

These are prices for first time takers. It's cheaper if you are re-certifying or taking test more then once.

Before, during RHEL 5, RH302 exam cost was about 800€ + VAT.

By "re-certifying" did you mean upgradation from RHEL 5 to RHEL 6?

Dear Friends, the idea from this thread is to have a clear idea about the rates prevailing in various countries. So please include the name of country you are referring to. So let me start again

Country : India
Certificaion : RHCE
Training cost : INR 10,000/- to 17500/- (Varies from Partner to Partner)
Course Material : INR 1200 per book (Total 3 books for 3 modules)

Certification cost
EX 200 : INR 10,000/-
EX 300 : INR 10,000/-

Currently there's an offer of FREE Retake for RHCSA and RHCE if failed in first attempt. First attempt to be done before 28 August 2012.

1 INR (Indian rupee) = $ 0.017937 (U.S. dollars)

Would appreciate if all could post in this format

Yes. However for RHEL5 RHCT and RHCE were in the same exam if you went for RHCE IIRC. However if you had to retake you would have to pay that amount again. And if you failed RHCT but passed RHCE you still had to do them both again.

Why not go to RHEL too get the rates. Nothing hidden, I really do not see the value of this thread.
Other than verification of prices. You also need to realize some contractors do set prices for their certified tests.
