RHEL 4 config tools vs RHEL3
I am studying for my RHCE exam. The book that I am using as the study guide is of course based off of RHEL3 as there are no RHEL4 books available yet that I know of. The test of course is based off of RHEL4. To study, I use CentOS4 (close to RHEL4). I notice that all the "redhat-config-" are not working. What changed? Where are the equivilent commands on RHEL4? Is the fact that I'm using CentOS4 the issue?
Thanks in advance for any help as a search turned up nothing for me. |
Ok, I scrolled down through the threads and found my answer here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=310220
Instead of redhat-config-* you do a system-config-* for those GUI tools. |
They have all change to:
system-config- |
