RHCE certification... requirements for...

Hi

Immagine I want to take an RHCE certification ( I heard they are paying good cash in DPRK to help them deploy HPC clusters in their reseach centres ... :nerd: ) anyway... ...

Should i consider aquiring some certification like RHCE, can i subscribe a training plan from redHat at RHCE level just like that ( I mean... i am NOT a Linux n00|>... ) or do i have to meet some prerequirements before I can subscribe RHCE... ?

BRGDS

Alex

I don't think that there is any criteria or prerequisites for RHCE training.

However with their new certification model, EX200 - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is required in order to earn EX300 - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

... by the same token, I suppose some sort of "entrance level grade" EX-100 is required to earn a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), ... Right...?!

So my question here is this :

Assuming I never had any previous official contact or training with RHEL, how long would it take me to reach the top certification in Red Hat.... ? 5 years, 2, 1...? I am clueless...

... I am not at absolute beginners level in terms of Linux... so where wout this drop me in terms of accessing a RH training level...?

...Hopefully not at the very beginning...
