Linux Tutoring

Hello,

I'm new to posting here and new to Linux. I have googled plenty (and looked on craigslist) and pretty much came up short. I am requesting Linux Tutoring, specifically for the Comptia Linux+/LPI test LX0-102 exam. I went to a classroom setting for a week and knocked out the LX0-101 exam and I have the Sybex book that covers both exams but I feel I still need someone to bounce questions off of.

If anyone has the CompTIA Linux+ or LPI or extensive Linux experience and would like to help me through Screen Sharing sessions (with teacher and student)/ possibly skyping and numerous emails/IM then please either leave a post or private message me on here with a quote for about 20 hours of your time as well as qualifications. Please be reasonable, patient with a linux newbie, and respectful.

I am currently a Microsoft Guru but want to move forward onto new challenges which is why I'm trying to move towards Linux. I want the tutoring as I don't want to be Linux certified knowing nothing or bare minimum about Linux so I feel with some hands-on tutoring with a pro I can ensure plenty of practice and knowledge to move into the Linux field or at least further my Linux knowledge and apply it to real world experiences.

Your best bet with this is to look up your local Linux User Group (LUG). These groups are set up so that Linux users in an area can meet up to get advice about, discuss and learn various aspects of Linux. You haven't put down your locale, but you can usually find information about a LUG at your local library or university or by checking the posts at our LUG sub-forum.
