Linux Certs
I've been admining CentOS boxes on the side for a few years now and I'm thinking of taking on a real linux admin type job full time. My background is in network security so this is kind of a step towards reinventing myself.
I was wondering if you had any cert suggestions that would assist in landing a linux job. With your cert suggestion maybe a few sites targeting the tests or braindumps (if those still exists) would be cool. I've been in IT for 10+ years and haven't taken any new tests for awhile so any info would be helpful. |
shoot, i posted this in the wrong forum. sorry!

You can use the report button to ask the mods to move it.
As for Linux certs, I'd guess RHCE would be most appropriate, given you've got Centos experience, & RH is the most well known commercial Linux. http://www.redhat.com/certification/rhce/prep_guide/ |
