Code:
[root@localhost smitty]# semanage fcontext -a -t virt_image_t KVM\(*\)? && restorecon -R -v KVM
/etc/selinux/targeted/contexts/files/file_contexts.local: line 6 has invalid regex KVM(*)?: Invalid preceding regular expression
Here is the output I get from your command, I will install the troubleshooter as described and provide you any output I get. Thank you

Google is my friend, I figured it out. I did the following...
Code:
[root@localhost smitty]# chmod 777 /home/smitty
[root@localhost smitty]# chmod 777 /var/lib/libvirt/
Thank you all for your help and time!

I only hope to return the favor, as I gain more knowledge.

You should also provide this feedback to Michael Jang and/or his publisher. It might well be something that should be incorporated into a future edition.

I found it interesting how the OP had problems with the config...I followed Jang's steps he outlined in the book with no issue.
