How to appear for Red Hat exam in a different country than your own?

Hi,

I am from India and have cleared the RHCSA exam. When I opted to appear for exams, Red Hat had a scheme to which I am entitled. In this scheme, I get 2 attempts for $400.

Now that I have cleared the RHCSA, I wish to re-attempt RHCE exam. But I am going to Indonesia for 2 months to visit my parents, and I can only appear for the second attempt in May. Hence, I can only attempt RHCE from Indonesia. I have the documents and evrything needed to prove my eligibility for the second attempt.

So, how should I go about taking the exam in Indonesia. How do I contact Red Hat for starting the procedure? I surfed the Red Hat site but couldn't find any direct help link. May be I missed something cos I am in a hurry and also need to pack for my journey.

Please guide me.
Thanks

The Light can be found in the simple things...postpone the visit to your parents if your carreer is important. No parent will want it any other way. If you'd ask the same question to your mother, she'll say the same.

Good luck in your exams...

Actually, what I want to know is whether I can appear for the Red Hat exam in Indonesia or not even though I registered for it here in India.

Logically, I should be able to appear for exam anywhere in the world since I have paid the exam fees to Red Hat...

Dear infinite_scale,

As they say, google is your friend -- http://www.apac.redhat.com/about/ includes contact information for a number of different countries in Asia, including India and Indonesia.

As I don't speak for Red Hat, I won't say anything more than that.

Thanks a ton Mike! I've sent an email to Red Hat India and will call Red Hat Indonesia once I get there. Your link served as a shortcut and saved me precious time because I am tied up in packing and documents stuff.. Thanks again.. :-)
