Does RHCT syllabus includes LVM & iptables?

Hi all:
I was thinking of giving RHCE but now the exam cost is boosted so I am going to give RHCT first and that way will have the real life experience of the test before losing a lot of money on RHCE.
Does RHCT includes LVM setup, iptables, server setups?
Michael Jang's RHCT book says that, its unclear whether LVM is supposed to be a part of the RHCT. But Redhat site is saying that the syllabus is RH003 and RH133 and in RH133 it includes LVM.

So whats your opinion on this?

Trust Red Hat on this.

BTW, I'm not 100% sure on this but I do believe Red Hat offers a discount on the RHCE if the RHCT was past within a certain time frame. I would be best to ask Red Hat yourself to be 100% sure.

thanks for your reply.

What about server setups and iptables, hope they are not included in RHCT?

Yes they are (how else does one install RHEL anyhow without these skills nothing fancy BTW), take the online skills assessment; https://www.redhat.com/apps/training/assess/

The real answer is in the Red Hat Exam Prep guide. It lists RHCE and RHCT separate. LVM is only on the RHCE list. Servers and security too. https://www.redhat.com/training/rhce/examprep.html

I'll second that. The Red Hat exam prep guide tells you exactly what you need to be proficient in.
