I have no use for Distro specific Certs. [ Novell has one for Suse as well ]
A distro Agnostic Cert means you are certified in using the tools for ALL distros, not just the customised tools for the ONE distro.

To me, a RH Cert or a Novell Cert is equal to an MS cert, worthless. An LPIC Cert covers several distros, so you have learned the tools available for all distros, which makes it a better cert to have.

Having an RHCE doesn't imply that one has never seen or used other distros,It simply means that he/she has a firm grasp on the finer points of RHEL and is fully capable of installing, configuring and securing workstation and server components at a high level in (currently) RHEL4.
