Custom scripts

Okay, I just finished rambling in that thread about Linspire not being a real distro, but now I want to ask a question:
How does one get wlan0 and ndiswrapper to load on boot? Another user was kind enough to give me a shell script to use to get the wireless up and running on boot, but I have no idea how to use the darn thing, what to name it, or where to put it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
