Spell Check error

I cannot do a spell check on Yahoo e-mail. On one site it said there is a glitch on some software download that can cause it. Do you have a solution?

The mail and spellcheck functions on Yahoo are provided by Javascript. Do the other email functions on Yahoo work properly?
