Installing Mandrake 9.2, have XP Pro

Hello, I have tried to install Mandrake 9.2 a few times with no success, (I keep getting just a screen of words and an error after login), If anyone could please tell me where a good walkthrough to installing 9.2 I would appreciate it. Or, if someone could tell me here or with a messanger service, that would be good also. I have MSN, AIM and email will work too.

if you could elaborate on this, people will be better able to help you. Do you at least get through the installer and the problem above is when you try to start mandrake? Or is it during the installation? What kind of an error message is it? what does the screen of words look like? Messages or gibberish?

I get a screen or words and an IO error with the same [chris@localhost chris] thing i just had before

is this during the install? Or does the install seem to go through fine but when you try to boot mandrake, you get this? You really need to tell people more about the exact problems you are getting.
