How to listen to streaming audio in KDE?
Merry Christmas all
I would like to listen to streaming audio within KDE using KDE applications, ie, noatun or Kaboodle. I can listen to streaming audio in KDE with XMMS but not noatun or Kaboodle. Whenever I select noatun or kaboodle, nothing happens. I thought it was buffering so I waited twenty minutes and nothing. XMMS works within seconds. What is the secret to be able to use noatun or kaboodle? |
you can try invoking noatun from the command line with the source address
eg noatun http://www.address.of.source/file (i'm not sure if noatun or kaboodle can handle streams, i know that xmms and mplayer can) |
Good idea
That is a good idea. I never thought of that. I'll try it as soon as I get home.
Thanks and have a merry Christmas!! |
