Thumbs up Requesting device drivers development.

I thought I start a new pool for a larger supported driver list in JDS Linux. My point of view is if we get enough feedback and request perhaps Sun could devote some time developing some specific drivers forth-coming releases.
So here is the plan I will forward this information to Sun Microsystems and all the respected manufactures specified in the petition when we reach a reasonable number of request.
I need your input to get this going, so choose what hardware you wish to have better support for and then specified the make and model in a thread and I will righting them all down and displaying the stats and when the time comes Iíll be contacting Sun with the full list of request.

And perhaps if Sun Microsystems do not wish to develop drivers for hardware which is understandable they could do a little research to get the open source drivers included in future releases.

Please help us to help you in making Linux more supported.

The petition started at:

Many Thanks for your input.

Ricardo W.
