Unhappy configure: error: conditional "HAVE_XV" was never defined.

configure: error: conditional "HAVE_XV" was never defined.
Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.

Keep Getting This error when trying to run the ./configure ( Installing Xine-lib -1.0 )

Running Suse 9.0 Pro Fully Updated.

Can anybody please advise. - Still Converting To LInux - Enjoying It So Far.
Even Though It Does Get Frustrating At Times.

have you tried downloading it from a different mirror?

It configured and built fine for me. Otherwise I think you would have to edit configure.ac.......

Thumbs up

you need the xorg-x11-devel rpm.
I didn't install it and had the same problem you're having.
Once installed, xine configured perfectly.
