wine error 21

I've been having this problem ever since the upgrade to the 2.6 kernel (yes, I realize that is a very long time, but I gave up for awhile). Since 2.6.1 came out i've started trying to fix it again, but to no avail. When I try to run any program with WineX I get a few errors loading fonts then error 21 and it quits.
Code:
[alex@desmond /fat-c/Program Files/WinZip ] $wine winzip32.exe
err:module:map_image Could not map section .text, file probably truncated
err:font:Fontconfig_Init Fontconfig support was not compiled in at compile time.
err:font:AddFontFileToList Unable to load font file "/fat-c/windows/Fonts/roman.fon" err = 2
err:font:AddFontFileToList Unable to load font file "/fat-c/windows/Fonts/script.fon" err = 2
err:font:AddFontFileToList Unable to load font file "/fat-c/windows/Fonts/modern.fon" err = 2
err:font:AddFontFileToList Unable to load font file "/fat-c/windows/Fonts/desktop.ini" err = 55
wine: can't exec 'winzip32.exe': error=21
fixme:xrender:X11DRV_XRender_Finalize Free cached glyphsets

[alex@desmond /fat-c/Program Files/Sony/EverQuest Trilogy ] $wine Everquest.exe
err:module:map_image Could not map section .text, file probably truncated

There is me trying to start EverQuest and winzip (I know there is unzip, but it was for demonstration purposes). The fonts are in my windows partition under C:\windows\Fonts so i'm not sure why it's not loading them. I'm using the latest Winex from winex's CVS.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Just to let you know, I and at least one other guy over at Transgaming have run into this "error=21" thing while trying to run games under Winex3. Both of us are using Fedora. There is mighty little on this I have yet found..
