Darn thing won't boot

See subject...

I get to:
Quote:
loading "us" (USA) keyboard map... done
And then it freezes. CD drive doesn't show activity, no shell appears, nothing. I downloaded it from Distrowatch's distribution link.

Any way to fix this? I have always had this problem with Puppy-based OS's.

Wish I could tell you what was going on, but I can't. Perhaps Nathan might know.

Have you tried posting about the bug at http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy since it is a Puppy related problem and not just Grafpup? I've always found them very helpful.
