Can I fatten a USB thumbdrive Grafpup install?
I have a 2Gb thumbdrive with two 2 1Gb partitions.
sda1 is FAT32 for enabling use on windows machines.
sda2 is bootable Grafpup on ext3.
Earlier I had a Debian full install on this drive so that I could add programs to it. Can I add programs to Grafpup on USB stick using dotpup?
I am asking this because I find the directory structure and files on the drive to be same as on the cd. Are these files mutable.?
I'd love to say yes, but I'd like an answer from someone who's more certain than I am.
I think you'll have to customise your stick for puppy first because the directory structure will be the same no matter what distro you use.
That said, I'd like to hear from a real puppy fan.
Yes, as long as you have a save file. It asks to create one the first time you shut down.
