WARN: postinst
You must rebuild all drivers if upgrading from <xorg-server-1.9
because the ABI changed. If you cannot start X because
of module version mismatch errors, this is your problem.
You can generate a list of all installed packages in the x11-drivers
category using this command:

Code:

emerge portage-utils; qlist -I -C x11-drivers/

X.Cyclop 01-02-2011 03:27 PM

I upgraded from 1.9.1 (as far as i remember).

andrewthomas 01-02-2011 06:50 PM

As it just takes a couple of minutes to emerge your drivers (probably just evdev and your video driver, ) I would make a habit of just emerging everytime you emerge xorg-server.

X.Cyclop 01-08-2011 05:01 PM

Nothing, it's still the same.

andrewthomas 01-09-2011 06:24 AM

Does

Code:

revdep-rebuild
want to rebuild any packages?

X.Cyclop 01-14-2011 04:52 AM

No, everything is ok.

X.Cyclop 01-15-2011 11:34 AM

SOLVED ! :D
I created the xorg file (X -configure) then i changed intel to vesa under Monitor section.

Thanks !
