sys-fs/lvm2-2.02.51-r1 install failed.


emerge gave me an error message:

this is from a new install. please tell me what I need to do.

We need you to paste like 20-30 lines above that. That last messages doesn't tell us anything about what the problem was.

gentoo, emerge lvm error

Please help me, i have a same error:

Hello,

I have same issue, but luckly there is a work around:
in bug id: 278151
Basically you have to emerge previous version of lvm2.

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge =sys-fs/lvm2-2.02.45 && emerge =sys-fs/lvm2-2.02.51-r1
