Installation shock

Downloaded and tried to install Gentoo BUT it immediately halted with a message about "Secure Boot".
Don't recall the exact message but it was objecting to its lack of the "Secure Boot". Does Gentoo not work with "Secure boot"?? OR did I download the wrong version?

Then change the bios settings (boot: uefi) to legacy. Consult the bios manual for further details.

You need to disable secure boot, you can still boot UEFI.
