Funtoo: Trouble with boot-update.
I'm trying to install Funtoo, and problem appears while I was configuring grub. I hadn't made separate /boot partition. Must I do it?
mint portage # boot-update -V

Don't know much about Funtoo's boot-update tool, but maybe you can configure grub manually. I do not think you have to have a separate /boot partition as long as all of the relevant files are under /boot on the / partition (grub.conf, kernel image). Maybe this will help: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handboo...part=1&chap=10?
