Package libpng12 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libpng12.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'libpng12', required by 'cairo', not found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables BASE_DEPENDENCIES_CFLAGS
and BASE_DEPENDENCIES_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

i belive that the problem is in this part:
Code:

but i don't know what to do because the las version of glib that is in portage is 2.22.4

Code:

	(2)	2.20.5-r1 ~2.22.2 ~2.22.3 ~2.22.4

You have hit the libpng12 issue. If you want more extensive info on the issue you can search the Gentoo official forums, there are probably hundreds of threads about this now.

The quick answer to your problem is probably this one:

Code:
$ /usr/sbin/libpng-1.4.x-update.sh
$ emerge -1 cairo
$ revdep-rebuild --library libpng12.so.0
