compiz-fusion on Gentoo 2.6.24

I posted this thread in "newbie" forum but I have no asnwears there, maybe you guys know why I can't start my compiz-fusion. When I type compiz or compiz-start I get only:
Quote:
compiz (core) - Fatal: No composite extension
.
How may I start compiz on my Gentoo? What's wrong?

There is a file /etc/X11/xorg.conf, it should contain things like modules for the grafical system (the X server). The Composite extension is enabled when the following lines exist in the file:
Quote:
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

i found that page in notime with google]
