Question Check versions that are stable in portage?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Is there a way to check what version is considered stable in portage tree like if globally testing is enabled(~x86) is there a way to look what x86 would be with out changing the make.conf?

Try using eix. You get it with app-portage/eix. You'll need to run update-eix after Portage tree syncs/changes.

In fact, eix is one of the best for that.

Yes, I agree. Update the portage tree and eix in 1 step.

Nowadays I use eix all the time instead of equery list.
