I know how to fix it, as I said, it took me about an hour to manually change it. My point was just that it was bad ergonomics to setup the default menu that way, in my opinion. The topic of this thread was thought and opinions on bluecurve so I stated mine, and KnightAbel stated that he liked it. . .his opinion.
I'm pretty sure however that this is a bluecurve issue, because RH 7.3 did not setup menus this way, nor does any other distro that I know of.
I'm sure it wouldn't bother me that much, but all the apps I use are in the second-level menu's ie: I use Koffice rather than open office (more lightweight I think), and I use Kmail and Konqueror etc etc. . .
Heh heh, have you ever booted into windows after using Linux for a month strait and find yourself trying to use linux features that don't work? like the middle button to paste text.
I was using win explorer and wondered why internet explorer always popped up when dbl clicking an html file, or having notepad fire up when dbl clicking a .txt file. Then it was like: "oh yeah, lame..."

Love that integration...
lol, that happens to me all the time. They use windows at school, and my mom has windows on her computer, so I'll get to using windows, than get pissed because it wants to act like an ass. lol.
and it's not bluecurve, bluecurve it the theme. It's just the way that Red Hat made the menu. okay, I guess it is bluecurve, since that's basically what you call the thing with it tyring to make them look similar...
