i have 2 more years of highschool. then i might end up having to do a BA here for another 2 years. then i will hopefully pursue a masters abroad, unless something big happens.

if i do in fact decide to do something linux-related, geographical location wont matter much (thanks to the internets) and the popularity of linux in germany/france/other european countries. not so sure about canada though. whats that linux counter site again?

not much point in arguing over this now...
Why would 90% of the people in my state beat the crap out of me? Most people in Virginia agree with me. Besides that, that is a typical remark by an angry democrat who can't accept the fact they lost. I find for being anti-war, most of you liberals are the most agressive people I have ever met. My friend almost had a guy run him off the road on the highway because he had a Bush-Cheny sticker on his car. Get this: his linsence plate said "LV N PCE". Go figure man. Most of you ( and I hate labeling but I have to in this case) can't see further then the end of next week.

The media has made your decisions and fed you information that is wrong and hasn't given you a chance to think on your own.

I won't get into the politics of war, but most didn't know the facts before our men went into conflict. You can say this or that, oil is motivation, Bush is a coke head, went AWOL, and the US is an evil empire. I could say Kerry is a leftist, hippy, pot-smoking traitor who fratenized by the viet cong and Jane Fonda. I wouldn't state that as fact becuase it's not true, plain and simple.

With that being said, the media dismisses the facts it doesn't want you to know. Believe it or not, they have an agenda to fill. So you might actually have to do some research (gasp!) to find the real answers and truths. Most are lazy and can't be bothered, and that is what scares me.

I get accused of being racist because I am Republican. I was in the military and got barraged by peace activists in a Subway and the yelled and called me a baby killer. I haven't killed any babies, or anyone for that matter. I don't pay attention because it's stupid uninformed 19 year olds with no clue.

Bush did what needed to be done, and most have to realize the world's problems aren't solved with picnics in the sun and negotations with terrorists. In order to secure your right to bitch and moan about the government and be a disgruntled liberal, there has to be sacrafices, and you have to be agressive. Believe me when I tell you there is a lot of folks out there who will kill you the first chance they get, and some of them are our supposed allies.

By they way, if you didn't even vote in this election, or are from another country, then your voice is meaningless to me, and a majority of Americans.

"Washington DC"

dosent look like virginia to me...

yes, i know its not a state...

anyway, you need to lighten up.

i just thought it was funny that such fiery republican lived in an area with so many democrats. i would be fearing for my life about now...

now, for the actual post,

its fear-mongering. its the same crap all ove again. its why bush won the election.

vote bush, or die!

and just to give an example of how pacifism works, canada, swizerland and sweden are three of the most liberal countries in the world. how many terrorist attacks? 0 how many times has osama said he wants to kill anyone from those countries? 0

now for the US.

how many terrorist attacks? one too many.

how many times has osama threatened us? more than i can count, or like to for that matter.

the media,

the last time i even watched the news was the debates, and even then i only watched the debates. your position is completly baseless. now bush on the other hand publicly admits he gets his news from his aides. which is more biased? a bunch of neocons with a REAL agenda to fill, or a reporter who would like kerry to win?

oh, and i didnt vote cause im underaged. but that dosent mean my voice shouldnt count. i know more than the large majority of hte people that DID vote.

Funny the democrats do the same thing. Its no different they all play off of what they can. The democrats appeal to the african americans and lower class peopel and the senior citizens with promises of Healthcare for everyone and riase taxes for the rich. Niether of whcih woudl benfit them at all nor would they accomplish anything.

Also your grounds for terrorist attack and what style country they are, are completely baseless and unfounded. Its a poor attempt our ignoring the first terrorist attacks agaiosnt the US by OSamam during the Clinton era resulted in nothign mroe then even more attacks. Yet we cannot simply ignore global affairs we are too big and powerful too. Too many coutnries need us.

THe media is biased towards the left except Fox which happened to be the most popualr news network. New is suppsoed to be unbiased information. And nayone who thinks that the president gets his news from the media as its main source of info is sourly kidding themselves the aides have always brought the presiddent up to speed with all improtant situations. You know why? Because they have access to more inofrmation then the media ever does. THe media simply tries to appeal to those who will ent them the most ratings.
