xterm in fluxbox and kde aren't the same

hi

I'm sure there's a simple solution to this, but when I use KDE & open a terminal window, I get a
helpful prompt with who I am and where I am, eg, ros@darkstar$. A command like ls gives a helpfully colour-coded result, so I can see which are directories and which are compressed files, etc. Small things, I know, but I quite like them.

However, when I use fluxbox, which, for some reason, I prefer, none of my terminal windows have these niceties; I get a bare bash-2.05b$ prompt, and ls gives me a plain list, without the slash at the the end of the directory names. Any ideas how I could fix this?

Edit your ~/.fluxbox/menu and change the path which invokes your terminal application and add an '-ls' flag

i.e.: "xterm -ls"
