I just tried to install the GIMP on my system win xp, I am considering switching over to a pure linux os ... however I want to get used to the tools before I make the switch...

I am currently running winxp pro...

I downloaded gimp 2.0 and the gdk as well as the ghost scritp drivers as they recommended .
I however tried to run the gimp after rebooting and get this error when trying to execute the program...


"the procedure entry point XML_SetDocTypeDeclHandler could not be located in the dynamic link library xmlparse.dll "

I tried looking on the net for some help but have had no luck yet... any help would be appreciated as I would love to try out this program
