WPA2 PSK and 802.11x

Hi Folks,

As part of the PCI-DSS, to deploy wifi you need to "Set up APs in WPA or WPA2 mode with 802.1X authentication and AES encryption".

Does the standard PSK (Pre-Shared Key) mode use 802.1X? I understand what 802.1X is (I've used it before with EAP-TLS and a RADIUS server), however I'm not so sure if the standard WPA2-PSK mode uses it.

Thanks

Jonny

The Wikipedia article indicates it does.

By the way, your topic title says "802.11x". You may want to fix it.
