Wordpress and contact form 7 plugin

Hello

I have a wordpress site hosted on a free hosting with the plugin "Contact Form 7". When i fill the form and push "send", it tells me "message succesfully sent" but the message never gets to my inbox on gmail.

I was looking for the solution on google and in other boards i saw someone with the same issue as me and the people on that board told them that the free hosting services don't have a function called "php mail" needed to send the e-mails on the contact forms.

I asked to the tech support of the site where my site is hosted and they told me that that function is working properly so i should be able to send the mails, but i can't anyway.

What should i do?

I was following this tutorial, i following the same steps:
