windows xp professional sp2 for home edition


Hi,

Is windows professonal xp sp2 cd compatible with windows xp home edition???? I have using windowsupdate. I prefer ordering the cd but it looks there is no windows xp home edition sp2 cd. Only for professional.

The service pack (SP2) works on both versions of Windows XP. Make sure to look at the "known issues and problems" site Microsoft set up listing all the software that SP2 breaks. Most have patches out or are working on them.
