Hey hardcore gamers, I thought this was interesting article about Windows games working on Linux with full compatibility, maybe all the people dual booting back into Windows for some gaming won't be necessary in the near future. Check this article and site out.
http://www.transgaming.com and the article at http://www.gamespy.com/interviews/march01/gavrielstate/

Happy Gaming.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the link Trickykid,

I really do hope that this works, it would make my life a hell of a lot easier! In fact I may try to experiment with the code, I'm getting bored of dual booting!

One interesting point is the way in which they plan to make some money out of the project. Well I couldn't make out the license (gets boring after a while), but it appears you can't make any money off the patch, but can develop it for your own benefit. I wonder if you can release your own modified version of the code under the Open Source License?? I guess not?
