Win 7 enterprise hard lock network wide

hi, please don't flame that this does not belong here

i have an issue with a network with multiple VLAN's. all machines except the server machines are running windows 7 enterprise.

we have two win 7 enterprise machines on our server VLAN that don't lock.

machines only seem to lock if they are logged in or booting up, not if they are sitting at the login prompt

If you are authenticating to an Active Directory environment then I would look at the machine doing the authentication.

SOLVED there was a rogue machine on the network an acer SK50 that was freezing, when it did so it killed our 3com switches and hard locked (somehow related to NAP) our win7 machines
