Why does not the browser(Firefox) support flash content on some websites ?
 
Hi ppl! I have some problems related to the flash content on mozilla firefox browser 1.5.0.9; the flash content is not displayed at all ! Even after the installation of the adobe flash thingie, some 7.0.something.
What do I do now ?

You could install the Flash 9.0 beta for Linux. Your current install is probably 7.0. They never made 8.0 for Linux.

Flash 9 doesn't work on all sites using firefox 2, I am sad to report. At least, it doesn't work on my box. I get audio on some sites, with no video.

Mozilla, however, shows the video as well. Hence the bug has to be in firefox.

I am running SuSE 10.1 and I download the Firefox 2.0 from the repositories. The Suse is 64b.
I do have problem to run the flashplayer 9.0 plugin. What I have done is I run the solo flashplayer as a helper application.
OTOH konqueror works perfect in the same setup and the plugin works ok.
I removed all the old flashplayers and still I could not see it in Firefox. Yes I think you are correct the problem is with firefox.
