10x for the last links... I've been trying to open the pdf for the last 15 minutes... Kept recieving invalid format or something like this. dunno why... Maybe the format is too new for xpdf/ggv/kghostview (gv in short).

No - it should still open. The second link is a better one and gives much better detail. And talks about the design of the logo.

Odd... this is the output from ghostscript when I try to open the pdf:

Quote:

Current allocation mode is local
ESP Ghostscript 7.07.2: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1
I've tried other PDFs, and they work... the first link you gave me reports the above...

Works fine for me. In fact, it's even better than opening it in Winders. Go figure.

I have Mozplugger 1.5.1 installed - do you?

I'm referring to the pdf file. I've downloaded it locally and I tried opening it with xpdf. gv verboses the error messages, and that's what I got trying to open http://thelinuxbox.org/files/mepisCh1.pdf. Works fine with any other pdf. What ghostview version do you have?

I just d/led it and opened it in KGhostView - version 0.20 - the one that came with Mandy 10 CE. Also, normal Ghostview (ver 3.5.8) and Xpdf ver 3.00 also work fine.
